Welcome to the Chaldean Athletic League's Fall Session of 2008! As always, before we start our new round of basketball for the year, we stop and take a minute to recognize and congratulate the past season's victors. The West Telkaif Warriors, led by veteran captain Patrick Yono and League MVP Nick Shango took care of business this past season and brought home the CAL championship trophy. They battled from an 0-2 start to make the playoffs and knockout a very stacked and talented Revolution team. This season brings back seven solid ex-players and a new point guard to stir things up in the first round of the draft. So be sure to expect a lot of action, plenty of scoring, and a tight race into the playoffs. Enough with the talking, it's time to play some ball... players and fans, ready or not, CAL is now is session. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
